1/23/2006-WAYNE INTERVIEWED ON SOUNDCHECK
Last night listeners of TK99's Soundcheck
in Central NY got a surprise when main man Dave Friscina started a little interview with Wayne! "It was
actually alittle bit of a surprise doing that cause I was just going there to do a soundbyte ID and,
next thing you know, Dave is telling me he's gonna ask me some questions on the air!....It was very cool-just
wish I had recorded it..." Well fret not Wayno, believe it or not, someone DID record that show and we

mail-hope food stamps are ok....) ! We're in the process of getting it converted to Mp3 foormat so we

2/5/2006-CAROLINE BLUE PLAYS SURPRISE SHOW!
We've been informed that on Thursday 2/2,
the band played a surprise show at Hooligans in Liverpool, NY. When asked, Wayne said "...It was basically
a dry run to get the rust off the band. We haven't played out live since 10/2005 so we basically wanted
to see how we were doing and to see if we're ready for our 1st Official show with the new lineup next
week." The set was very relaxed with no stable setlist or stage clothes. There were 7 other bands this
night & CAROLINE BLUE went on last. Pics are now online on the LIVE PICS and FANS, FRIENDS & FREAKS
pages. Can't wait till the show next week!

2/13/2006-METAL J QUITS CAROLINE BLUE!
We have just received reports that Metal J-drummer
for CAROLINE BLUE- has quit the band right after their performance at The Half Penny Pub in Syracuse,NY
this past weekend! Our ravishing reporters at WHUT have found out that, shortly after packing his gear,
Metal J left the venue-only pausing to hand Wayne an envelope-which contained a letter stating that he
was quiting the band and that this was his last show. We talked to Wayne who said that the 2 remaining
Half Penny shows are still on and that someone will be filling in on drums at those shows. Wayne also
said a drummer has been recruited to do studio work and that everything is going full steam ahead. Metal
J joined CAROLINE BLUE back in June 2004. From all of us at CB.NET we wish him good luck in his future
projects.
For more on this story, check out comments made on CB's Ezboard Forum and My Space

3/12/2006-CAROLINE BLUE CONTINUES ON!
Hey everyone! As you all know, CAROLINE
BLUE was without a drummer immediately after they performed at The Half Penny Pub in Syracuse,NY last
month. Alot of bands would have cancelled their remaining shows to regroup-yet CAROLINE BLUE was back
at the Half Penny last night! They took to the stage late for a shortened set but they sounded pretty
good! Sitting in on drums is Carmen Giocondo-drummer for Zadoc...& the Nightmare. Also on the bill besides
ZATN were Temporal 3 Pattern. Both bands did great jobs. Pics of the night are on the LIVE PICS and
FANS, FRIENDS & FREAKS pages. T3P will be back w/ CAROLINE BLUE for their 3rd remaining show at the
Half Penny-along with Tangled Grace-on 4/22/2006. However, what will the CB lineup be? Keep checking
back here for the latest!

3/19/2006-UPDATE ON BILLY PIERCE!
Since leaving the band in September 2005, many people
have been asking what happened to "The Bondage Boy"-Billy Pierce. It just so happens that Wayne & Billy
were at a club over the weekend and we got an update on what he's been up to. At the moment, he's laying
low and is not currently involved with any bands, but stated that this might change come Springtime.
He also wanted to say hi to all the CB faithful and to wish them well. Keep rockin Billy!
|
|
We've been told that 12 tracks are going to be on the new CD-along with a possible bonus track
or 2. Pics of the session are now on our STUDIO PICS Page-which will be updated as we get more pics
in. Manning the board is Scott Patnode (Perfect Symmetry). It is unknown as of yet if other guest musicians
will be coming in, or if Wayne will wait till the lineup is stabilized before continuing on, or if Wayne
is just going to do the rest of it himself! Keep coming back for the latest!

damm big, we can't get it all done in one day. So far the 1st 10 pages are done and we're gonna be working
hard to get the rest of the site up to speed ASAP. So if you go from one section of the site to the other

4/25/2006-CAROLINE BLUE PICS FROM THE HALF PENNY SHOW NOW ON SITE
Hey everyone-we finally
got the pics up from CAROLINE BLUE's show at The Half Penny Pub in Syracuse,NY last Saturday. The band
put on a great show-as did the other 2 support bands Tangled Grace & Temporal 3 Pattern. As you can see
from the pics, Zadoc (Zadoc...& The Nightmare) joined the band to sing a song with them-not knowing that
he was in for a surprise! All members of the band put on masks that had Zadoc's makeup design on just
before starting the song. The best part of it was, Zadoc didn't even notice this until the song had ended!
Check out the LIVE PICS to see his reaction and other great shots-we got alot of them this time! Also
check out the FANS,FRIENDS & FREAKS page-which has also been updated!

5/14/2006-CAROLINE BLUE VIDEO GETS ROASTED!
Back in March, UVTV put together a show
that was a tribute to the old Mystery Theater 3000 series. This was a show where a couple of people,
cloaked in shadow, would review horror/sci fi movies and make fun of them as they went along. With this
show, it was music videos and CAROLINE BLUE was one of the bands that was included! The video was "Mine,Mine,Mine"
which was filmed back in 2003 when the lineup was Wayne, Ham & Kenny "Thunder" Simpson. The video is
still a favorite among CB's ans, Friends & Freaks everywhere and we now have this unique version of it
on the main site! Click HERE to check it out! BTW...This was all done in fun-to see the whole show,

7/19/2006-CBNET INTERVIEW WITH EX-CAROLINE BLUE DRUMMER METAL J
Traditionally, we here
at CB.NET have done award winning interviews w/ the various members of CAROLINE BLUE. We were in the
midst of preparing an interview with The Metal One when he quit the band. However, we didn't let that
deter us and we did manage to send him some questions-the answers to which can be seen by going to our
VIEWS page. As always, all CB.NET interviews are totally unedited (unless the spelling error is REALLY
atrocious!).....

7/19/2006-CB.NET INTERVIEW WITH AZRIEL & CARMEN!
Now, since we managed to get an interview
with one of the ex-members of the band, we thought it would only be fitting to get an interview with
the current guys in the CB lineup-Azriel Mordecai & Carmen Giocondo! It took us a few days to track down
Carmen-who is known thruout CNY as a man of many beers & few words (gets in the way of drinking!)-but
we got him down for 5 minutes to do the interview. And Az has never been accussed of being shy when it
comes to speaking his mind so click on the VIEWS page to check it out!

9/10/2006-PICS FROM SLAVE TO THE HOURGLASS VIDEO SHOOT NOW ON SITE!
Things have been
kinda hectic here in the world of CB-hence our lateness in reporting CB news. Pics of the STTH vid shoot
(performance) are now up on the site and can be seen HERE. The shoot was done at The Half Penny Pub
in Syracuse,NY. The lineup here was Wayne, Azriel Mordecai on bass and Monster Mike Merrifield subbing
in on drums. They did several takes-pausing only once due to skipping on the CD. Reports were that-at
one point-the whole band was hopping like they were on pogo sticks! Guess we'll have to see the DVD video
comp. when it comes out. There was alot of laughter, good times-and ALOT of light. In fact, our pics
got distorted due to the amount of light there. All that means is the lighting is sure to be kick-booty
on video! Reports are that now the band is looking for an office/warehouse area to film the concept part.
Stay tuned!

A TRIO FROM THE STATE OF NEW YORK,MADE IT
THEMSELVES BY MAKING IT TO THE FINISH LINE TO KEEP THE CLASSIC ROCK ALIVE. NOR MUSIC OR SONGS ARE
THAT ORIGINAL,BUT NONETHELESS ARE VERY EFFECTIVE,THE TRIO ,WHERE GUITARIST WAYNE JOHNSON IS ALSO TAKING
THE LEAD BY BEING THE SINGER AND ACCOMPANIED BY DRUMMER MIKE MERRIFIELD(WHO HAS SEEMED TO TAKE OVER
THE VACANT POSITION ),WHICH IS ALSO SHARED BY DRUMMER DAVE VICTORY ON THEIR CD. AND WITH JONNY SNIPER
ON BASS,THE TRIO MAKES NO SECRET OF BEING INFLUENCED BY BANDS LIKE KISS AND MOTLEY CRUE.ALREADY THE TITLESONG"SLAVE
TO THE HOURGLASS"SHOWS CLEARLY THAT KISS PLAYED A SPONSOR IN THIS SONG,BUT FOLKS LIKE VINCE NEIL AND
FELLOW MUSICIANS WOULD HAVE BEEN ROCKING AT IT MORE HEAVIER AS CAROLINE BLUE DID.THE THREE YOUNG NEW
YORKERS ARE STARTING OUT VERY MELLOW,BUT ARE VERY CONVINCING.THE WORK IS DEFINETLY NOT BAD AND WITH
HEADBANGING SONGS LIKE "QUEEN OF PLEASURE" AND THE THROW OUT SONG "TOO LATE" IS JUST LIKE THEIR PREVIOUS
ROLEMODELS~TIMELESS.AND AFTER NUMEROUS AMOUNTS OF PLAYING REALLY IS NOT DISSAPOINTING.
SONGTIPPS~SLAVE
TO THE HOURGLASS,QUEEN OF PLEASURE,TOO LATE.

12/29/2006-STTH CD REVIEW FROM HARDSOUNDS.IT (ITALY)
CAROLINE BLUE's "Slave to the
Hourglass" CD has been reviewed by Italy's Hardsounds.It. If you speak Italian, click on the VIEWS link
to check it out. Otherwise, read below. Thanks Andrea for the translation!
"From the state of
New York, Caroline Blue is a solid melodic hard-rock trio moved by classic inspiration taken from
Kiss, but never figuring as a their cover band, and never as rakes and lack of personality. Indeed,
Caroline Blue weight down the sound in phase of riffing, and run with a rythmical section aggressive
and more powerful guaranteeing a precise trademark. "Slaves To The Hourglass" is their first studio
work, a five tracks EP(more two hidden tracks that does not add a lot in matter of quality: an
acoustic instrumental song, and a telephone call by Wayne while promoting the record), dynamic and
spontaneous that let truly imagining a monstro attitude to the live show dimension(very large is the
number of cover songs in their own catalogue). Title-track and "The Queen Of Pleasure", in this
sense, express on the better way the concept of CB's "wall-of-sound". In auge for sure we have
Wayne Johnson, vocalist, determined and visceral axe-man who drags all the compositions in a vortex
made by electricity and sweat, in a certain way paying tribute to Paul Stanley, but able to communicate
his own personality and rock'n'roll glamour. The producing, unfortunately, is not the best one.
The sound is too much stuffed with wadding, and drums sounds too much like as in the '80, but i'm
also speaking about a kind of autoproducing, and therefore lack of technology to "clean or modernize
the sound". Anyway, are Caroline Blue the "next big thing"? They surely could be it. The potentialities
does not lack, the same to say in fact of determination to assert themself(furious is the promotion
on the web, so much organized and detailed). At last just a note to say that the band members signed
on the cd credits are not same than actual(except Wayne), and therefore i do not know the effective
quality of the new ones, but voices said that their recently live performances has been great. Then,
what we have to do is to wait for the full-lenght record, but this Ep is a nice aperitif that open
your stomach as well until that time."

12/31/2006-CAROLINE BLUE BLAZES INTO PHOENIX!
CAROLINE BLUE played a last minute show
at Schultzie's in Phoenix, NY last night! Apparently, even Wayne didn't know about the show until 3 days
before it happened. "I opened the New Times that Wednesday..." said Wayne "..... and the ad said "Carolina
Blue at Schultzies Saturday." Besides the misspelling, I was like "We are???" But like the troopers
they are, the band arrived and played an awesome set that blew apart their show in Rome last month. LIVE
PICS and FANS, FRIENDS & FREAKS Pics are now on the site. In addition, catch some more live pics
of the band at RAY RAY'S PHOTO SITE.
